HISTORY OF KOTA CITY
The history of the city of Kota is believed to be during the 12th century. When Rao Deva Chauhan, a king belonging to the Hada dynasty, conquered the region and acquired his suzerainty and later established a place called Hadoti and Bundi. During the reign of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in the early 17th century, Raja Rao Ratan Singh of Bundi handed over the run of the princely state of Kota to the hands of his second son Madho Singh. Best time to visit Kota
The best time to visit Kota city of Rajasthan is during the months of October to March. Because Kota has a semi-arid climate along with high temperatures. Summer begins in the month of March which lasts till June. After this, the monsoon season is accompanied by low temperatures. But due to rain, you may have to face trouble. The time from November to February is considered absolutely favorable for visiting Kota.
